Violin Jacobus Koldiz (Rumburgue, 1751)

Currently this violin is on permanent loan to Juan Carlos Higuita, Columbia, South America, who performs regularly with Orpheon. He has used the violin by Koldiz to perform concertos with orchestra all over Columbia, as well as recitals all over Europe. On these photos, however, he is shown playing the violin by Nicolò Amati in a concert of the Orpheon Consort held at the Castello di Duino, Italy, hosted by his Serene Highness, Carlo Alessandro di Torre e Tasso.
